No, not Rush. All he can do is defend the GOP. He isn't interested in the truth, fairness, or equity. I just hate Hilary. She is so conniving and full of double speak. She is nuts.

Unless the pubs seriously push Mccain in the next election, I hate to inform you of this, but theres a VERY good chance that she would win and be the first female president of the U.S. I don't think Obama is ready yet, and I don't see any real contenders from the pubs side. But then again, who saw shrub winning not just once, but TWICE! I'm personally independent, I think we need a REAL *VIABLE* third party option to end the stupidity that is our dual party system. Sometimes I think i'm on some kind of hallucinogenic, and have been since 2000...We have a prez who says "N00klur". That's just scary regardless of your views on any policies past or present.

No NHS thing here.

With a preexisting condition like CF your only chance for insurance would be group insurance....getting a job with somewhere large enough that has group insurance as a benefit. Private insurance can and will turn you down for pre-existing conditions. Some they will take with some limits or riders on what they will cover and some of those have a certain time period and after that time period the limits and riders are removed. Unfortunatly with in my experience, when it comes to private insurance the mere mention of CF or one look at the medical records of someone with CF sends them in the other direction and denial of coverage.

There are state/government programs. Those vary by states. Some have lots that are fairly easy to get. Some like my state you have to be way below poverty level and have a slew of kids, a pregnant teen, elderly or a young child. Being declared disabled gets you coverage but thats an extremely hard label to get....although I know a lot of people that have claimed back problems and got it very quick with no problems but thats another rant.

Along with that is limits on insurance. You have deductibles, copays, limits on the doctors you can see, hospitals you can be admitted to etc. Medicines they won't cover. Treatments they will deny. One hospital stay my former insurance company declared too long for the problem stated and refused payment the days beyond their reccomended number unless they got a detailed letter from every treating doctor

Basically insurance is for healthy people as ironic as that sounds

My advice? Stay where you are! You don't know how good you have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course I could be biased because I've had some terrible experiences with insurance companies and my dad is an insurance agent
