my daughter has been on the respirtech vest for about a month now....i research alot on the vests and asked different therapists etc...even on the respirtech website it states that there really isnt any significant proof that a vest is better than CPT.....BUT, i wasnt able to get my daughter in all of the correct positions, and couldnt get her to hold still for that length of time to do the CPT as recommended. so the vest has been wonderful for us, very easy to use, i stick her in her play pen when it is on her, she falls asleep alot of the time. it has been easier to be compliant with the vest than trying to fight with her all day to do her PT like we are supposed to. hope this helps...

The vest is widely used over here. There are a few different ones to choose from. It is great for independence & time saving. IMHO I prefer manual clapping when I am truly sick, but my vest is great for me just to maintain.

It is very pricey & being you are from out of the states it seems not practical to get it on a trial basis as you can here.

That is my 2 cents! Any other ??, please ask!
