<p>we had a spot and set up a pinwheelgarden. people wrote name on paper of a person with or passed from CF taped that paper to the pinwheel stem .Then that individual placed it in pinwheel garden. It was kind of funny we used to call my daughter turtle and they brought a turtle out and placed it so all kids could see it.Turtle was in the pinwheel garden and the turtle started heading right over to my daugter's pinwheels.

The cfers at our walk wore medals around their neck. I believe it should be something visible around the neck too Harriett. Understandably the CFF chapter reps don't want to make us feal austracized at our own event but I think it's important and should be HIGHLY encouraged. I also think the 3 foot rule should be explained at each event which I regret not adding into my script but will next year. I think a cfer should explain and encourage the rules set up by the CFF.

Here's a way to say it as you approach a cfer with medal in hand..."Will you wear this medal today? We are honoring all the cystic fibrosis patients with one. It will also help you identify eachother so that you keep 3 feet between eachother." Obviously a cfer should not be the person bestowing the medals :)

Let's all work on it for next year.

I agree that someone with CF should be the one to explain the 3' rule and why it's important and show what will be worn by those with CF that day (to be distributed by someone else.)

I love the thought of presenting whatever is to be worn as something being given to honor all those with CF that day.

Those of us with CF at our walk got a little rose button (pin). I was thinking of having a shirt that just says "Cyster" on the back with my team name on the front.
