Thanks everybody for your responses and opinions, just what I was asking for. I just wanted to know if these symptoms were typical.. as most websites and books are very broad on symptoms, I was looking to explain my specific ones. I appreciate your responses to them. I have a scheduled appointment at the University of Minnesota's CF program in Minneapolis on Thursday afternoon. I plan on getting a sweat test, if it is at all boarderline, I will follow up with some genetic testing. Again, considering my past and in light of recent symptoms, I think this is a necessary route of examination. Thanks again for all your responses and opinions, they have made me far more driven to pursue this as opposed to just dealing with it. I'll share my results when I get them back.

Regards,

Tim

Sweat tests can vary dramatically- many people have been dx'ed with CF based on genetics and symptoms and have borderline or even NORMAL sweat tests. I would want genetic testing regardless of what your sweat test results are- ask for it at your first appt!

I am so glad you are being seen at this particular center. They are one of the very best in the country. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
