This is kind of a wierd question, but I know alot of people on this site do great strides and other fundraising for CFF so I thought I would ask here.
This year was the first year we were involved with Great Strides my daughter was diagnosed with CF 10 months ago. Our team did well we raised $10,000. We then worked with our local CFF office and did a dinner dance and raised another $40,000. The contact person at the CFF office was a little challanging to work with, but because we so believe in the cause just sort of rolled with the punches so to speak. Anyway, today out of the blue she called me while I was on my way to work and told me she has set up a conference call between the two of us and the executive director of the local CFF chapter because of changes in the way that CFF is raising money. She would not tell me anything else, just that I need to make myself available in the middle of my work day to do this. I feel a little like a naughty kid getting sent to the principal's office without knowing what I did.
I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything about this "policy" change or if maybe it was just something from our local office?
