Yep, that's right, I am now a member of the CFRD club. I had a meeting with my nurse coordinator and dietician today to go over diet ( not changing) and how to give my insulin. This is one club i wasn't eager to join!! I may be posting questions for those of you who are old members, LOL!

Haha, to be honest, nothing changed for me either. I just follow carb counting, do my shots, and eat what I want. It's not like I eat tons of sugar, so things are fine. My Hemoglobin A1C is 5.2 (normal is 5.0) and I've been diabetic for 12 years.

I decided not to change my diet either (after trying a oral diabetes med) and just going with the insulin- so far, so good. Good luck and ask away- I'll help where I can.
