All plans have an "out of pocket maximum" for the 20% - often times this is around $2500-$4000 per family (lower per person)Chances are you will meet this number quite quickly in the first part of the year with your daughter. So this is the number that you want to be looking for - when you reach that number, they should be paying 100% of the medical bills. Just double check to see if this same number <b>includes</b> pharmacy coverage.

I know, it sucks big time, but it does help to know up front that there is a maximum dollar amount that you can expect to have to put out.
