Everyone,

I am just taking a moment to thank all of you for your kind words with regards to my Mom. I cannot tell you what it means to me and my family.

Today she was admitted to a facility like hospice that willl help her with the her final transition. Because the diagnosis was so late the doctors are only treating her for pain and not for the cancer. In short, they say there is nothing they can do and have estimated she has roughly two months.

She is a strong in her christian faith and your thoughts and prayers mean so much to her. She has visited this site for inspiration and hope regarding Cystic Fibrosis.

Graham that is awesome that she has her faith to rely upon. For me, their is nothing more comforting to know that my last breath on earth, will be my first breath in Heaven.

Dear SenatorGraham,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother, although i totally agree with Jennifer. It is a blessing to know that your mother is a strong believer. I have a relative that has cancer and he does not believe and he gets angry when he is witnessed to. He has cancer in his brain and throughout his right lung, he is a nice man and it is really a shame.
You and your mother and family will be in my prayers.
