Our tradition is to get up and see all of the goodies Santa left under the tree, then we open our stockings. Santa always makes the mistake of dropping one present for each child in the fireplace on the way in, so they get to open that one gift as well. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

After that we have coffee, eat a light breakfast, and make cocoa that we take into the living room to open gifts. It is during this time that Andrew will do his hypertonic and vest. Then we'll head in toward the Christmas tree. My kids like to take their time..sometimes we don't finish opening gifts until after 1:00! That's why we go to church on Christmas Eve!

As an adult who is not quite as anxious to dive into the gifts its a bit easier. I get up before Jazz & get my nebs done & have my coffee. Sometimes I get the vest in, but not usually.

If not then we allow her to open some of her gifts from Santa. While hubby cooks breakfast & she is checking out her toys I do my vest.

When she was little I just told her that we had to stop for a minute while I did my treatment. She was fine. We also kept my vest & nebs in the same room as the tree. This year like last year the tree is downstairs, but its nice to have it seperated.
