Chronic pain meds

I know docs are often hesitant to give real pain killers to people w/ chronic pain (i.e. those who actually need it). I was wondering if anyone has a perscription for any narcotics. I just got one for tylenol 3 (w/ codine) for when I have extreme pain. Does anyone use any thing else?Debbie23 w/ CF

I am always on prescription pain killers, but usually not for anything CF related. I was on Naproxen and now I am on Hydrocodine (loratabs). I was put on them for a cyst on my ovary. I usually take my pain killers however for the bad leg cramps I get which is CF related.
