I know I'll have a lot of different answers here, but I want some input. I say no just cuz I know there are a lot of germs etc. My hubby says yes, let him be a kid! I also want him to be just a kid, BUT I do have to be realistic & draw certain lines.

I just was wondering what yall would do. Just for curiosity. Its for a b day party & yes, I would wash his hands with wipes etc. But ya know.......

I grew up in a very small town and we had to travel about 3 hours (one way) to our clinic visits and a Chuck E Cheese. One of our clinic visits happened to fall pretty close to my brother's and my birthdays (we are only a year and 8 days apart). So my parents decided to take us to Chuck E Cheese. I had a blast! We must have been about 6 and 7 at the time....it was the best, really! Sometimes being a kid is more important than worrying about germs. I still remember that as one of the best birthdays I ever had.

We must have been about 6 and 7 at the time....it was the best, really! Sometimes being a kid is more important than worrying about germs. I still remember that as one of the best birthdays I ever had.

Nope, I won't take my 2 1/2 year old to the one that is about 10 minutes away. And I know many parents of kids without CF who won't take their kids either. The one by me is always crowded and there is no way they can clean every ball in that pit!

I do take Aidan to other amusement parks that are more outside- Great Adventure and we always go to the boardwalk in the summer for the rides. We also do pools, playgrounds, beach, Little Gym ect...Just not Chuckee Cheese yet and hopefully never..
