Clindamycin

Just a quick question- does she take an antacid daily? Piper takes prilosec, partly because CFers are more likely to have heartburn in general, but also because it helps her enzymes work more effectively. Def something to check on at clinic next time <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> She also cultures MRSA, we have done clindamycin in the past with no side effects, but she usually uses bactrim and pred. As Jenny mentioned, we see more side effects from the pred than anything else- "moon" face, increased appetite, and she gets more emotional. It also seems to help a lot more than the antibiotics alone though, so it's a trade-off.
