Clinic visit tomorrow. Due to schedule conflicts and other problems it's been over 4 months.
what are good questions to ask?
thoughts on
bone density scan?
hearing test?
what's the difference between FVC and FEV1 or FEV1/FVC?

what am I missing?

--Debbie.

The best questions to ask are the ones that you need to ask. Simple as that. I keep an index card in my purse between visits, and write any questions I think of between visits. Then I have it on me come clinic time.

If you don't understand the FVC, FEV1, all that stuff, that's a very good question to ask. They are there not only to care for your child, but also to answer any questions you may have.

If you think maybe she should try a new neb, or a new pill, or a new vitamin, ask about it. If you want to check on a new form of therapy, ask about it. It's really quite as easy as that. Everyone here lives their CF lives very differently and what works for one may not work for another. So simply ask what you want to ask, and you'll be doing a great job.
