Clinic Visit

I don't post on here near as much as some of you but I do read all the time. I wanted to post an update on my son. He is 3 1/2 years old and was diagnosed with cf at 2 weeks old. He had an awesome clinic visit last Friday. His oxygen saturation was 99%, his lung x-ray showed great improvement, and his growth was good. I started him on GSH about 5 months ago and he is so much better for it. At the clinic visit before this one (before GSH) his oxygen saturation was 96% and that was after making him take deep breaths to get it there. His lungs were enlarged and showed mucous. This time his lungs were normal size with no mucous. I am amazed at his improvement although I knew he was better even before the doctor confirmed it. He can now run and play without getting out of breath and wheezing, he dosen't wake up in the mornings coughing and wheezing anymore, and he hardly ever clears his throat like he used to. He also was able to get over his last cold without any help from the doctors!! I know that the use of GSH in controversial on this forum but I am totally for it. I have seen with my own eyes how much it has helped my son. I just wanted others to know! Thanks for reading!

I think it was just time for an adjustment since he was on the same dose since 18 months old. We are back on track too and looking foward to clinics instead of dreading them.

Did you also notice more rosy cheeks (healthy not flushed) since starting? I remember that especially in the beginning. Give your guy a squeeze from us.
