So after being on my own for a few years and now bunking at my Dads for a bit I'm rembering a few things I dislike about living with others. Key numero uno item - room temperature!!!!! I know it's me I know I'm the wierdo but I am always FREEZING! So out of curiosity.....what temp do you guys like your households at?

I can be happy at 73 but would prefer a nice 75 or above even...77 is heaven.

I think I am the total opposite. I am always hot. I would probably roast if we kept it at 77 (lol). We have our thermostat set at 68. We would normally have it at about 70, but we live in Illinois where our electric rates have skyrocketed over the past several months (but that's another story), so we are trying to conserve. Over the summer, we will probably set it at 73-74.

My body is usually cold, but my breathing cant handle anything above 72 so I keep the thermostat around 70 or preferably lower. Hubby has a fit. He is even colder then I am. I wear layers of clothing especially on my feet. If my feet are cold I will never warm up.

I was an odd one... anything above 76 and I started to sweat and have trouble breathing... anything below 72 and I would get the chills. But I guess that had to do with how hard my lungs had to work in order to breathe, take energy away from the rest of my body to manage properly, just my opinion. But now I don't get the chills anymore since my surgery and I don't have trouble breathing when the temp is higher either.

I am hot natured. I like the temp around 70-72, year around if I can. My breathing starts giving me a problem above 73. I rather be cold and wrap up than be hot and try to cool off.

oh my, don't even get me started. my roomie and i are complete opposites on this issue. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i usually keep the thermostat around 74 (I would turn it cooler, but I think she would freak out), but whenever I leave, she changes it to 80. Who keeps their thermostat at 80?! it's pretty crazy. But to answer your question, I get hot if it's over 75...I really like to have it cool in the house, especially when I'm sleeping...I can't sleep if it's over 74 & it makes it harder for me to breathe for some reason.
