Christi,

I will continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery from whatever ails him. Hopefully its just an "end of summer cold"... I used to always get sick with stuff when the seasons were changing. Please keep us posted!

Damien coughed less today. After one day of antibiotics? I like to think hes just getting better on hes own I gave him some Rhinocort Aqua today and it helped a little for a little while. The thing that works best for the runny nose is to turn off the air conditioning, it gets so hot I live upstairs and in Arizona so I can only do that for so long. Why is that? Baby hasnt had much of an appetite Iworry over that he is breaking teeth,

Well we are still coughing!!! So today they are going to do a chest xray i really hope it dosent show anything... His lungs sound completely clear.. So i wouldnt think that there would be anything in there.. Anyone else ever had kiddos that sounded clear and still had an abnormal chest xray?? His cough is nasty though and his nose still running so we will see!!

When DS has had sinus infections in the past, he's been prescribed Augmentin and has gotten watery stools from them. More recently when he had a head cold that turned into a junky cough, he was put on Cipro, which seemed to clear things up in a few days. Hope ashton's feeling better! Liza

I have a 2yr old daughter with cf (has never cultured pa). She has only had problems with sinus infections one after another last winter. At the end of the season she ended up getting bronchitis while on an antibiotic. That was scary she had a horrible cough. Every time she gets sick they put her on the same antiobiotic. I really don't like that but when we try anything else it does'nt work! She is in an in home daycare fulltime and I think she has done really well. I am so scared she is going to get pa!!! She has mut F508! She has never been hospitalized except when she was dx at 31/2 mo. For suppressing the cough, NO! She use to do pulmazyme but when she got brochitis we started mucamyst, I think it works alot better! and is cheaper! Do your kids go to daycare? What clinic do you use?

That is so weird how they are all different! I'm sorry to hear about that! We live in Georgia so we go to Atlanta. I hate doing it every 3 months! It's a 3 hr drive. With a 2yr old!!!! I have to go thursday. I hope he starts feeling better. I know how you feel. It's so hard. I feel like all I do is worry and can't enjoy life. She has done well but, i'm scared it's just going to hit me all at once. I hate that winter is right around the corner. We don't have winters like you do!
