I hope this is not to late to respond to the conversation of LL vs. San Diego.
We were with the LL CF clinic for 9 years with our son. When he was dual diagnosed in March of 2007, we knew there was a deficit if you will, in our pursuit for our sons optimal health care. We switched to San Diego and I cannot tell you enough what a wonderful transition this has been. Sam has been hospitalized 3 times since we have been to San Diego, and although it is difficult for a 10 year old to be hospitalized so often and for 3 weeks at a time, HE enjoys Rady's Children's hospital, they are FABULOUS with Children, they LOVE children, and they are supportive and wonderful to families. All the essential elements to getting better are there for all of us. We are so thankful for the CF team in San Diego.
