Tumeric may turn out to be the spice of life - literally - for people suffering from cystic fibrosis, new research suggests.American and Canadian researchers reported Thursday that they were able to resolve the symptoms of the debilitating disease in mice by dosing them with curcumin, a compound that gives tumeric it's bright yellow color. This was an ad in The Chronicle Herald, a paper in Halifax, Nova Scotia.WOW!

I am a mother who had five children. Four of them had CF. Three of them have passed away and I am definetly excited about this new discovery. I sincerely hope that this is indeed the hope for all children and young adults and their familys for a long awaited cure. Never ever give up hope and faith and definetly get excited about every small and big discovery. I thank God every day for the wonderful people who dedicate their lives so that ours can hopefully live a long one and it is our excitement and thanks that keep them going.Mary Lou

I just took my 1st Turmeric capsule, 95% Curcumin. I'm going to follow the directions on the bottle, 2 capsules daily. The only change I have noticed so far is that I'm starting to grow a tail and I have a wicked appetite for cheese.
