I am a mom with CF and I had to do IVF and I also used accupuncture. If you have high FSH and are a poor resonder in my experience/opinion IUI's are just tossing your money away unless you can get them for very cheap and are willing to try alot of times. It is also just my opiniong but doing anythign fertility related you have to find a really good RE and trust their opinions but DO ask alot of questions to understand why they recommend what they did (this was very hard for me at first as I don't trust doctors very easily but it was worth it in the end as I found a great RE).

accupuncture can really help to increase blood flow in uterus and has been shown to dramatically increase implantation rates there are alot of great studies out there if you google it. You may also look into I believe it is wheatgrass that can help lower FSH (this was not a problem of mine so I cannot remember exactly) this may help out to lower the FSH to make IUI's or other routes better options.

I know alot of poeple love accu but I was not a huge fan, 1st time I felt nothing, 2nd time I did feel a big rush then some relaxation and after that was so so. They aren't really needles like you think of, nothing close to getting blood drawn but you can feel 'soemthing' there wre only a couple sensitive spots like ears etc and it didnt hurt just weird.

I was absolutely euphoric afterwards. I haven't been able to go again since, unfortunately, it's a bit expensive, but I really enjoyed it. The needles weren't scary, but I could "feel" them, though not nec. in a bad way.

And its not like the needles we are used to obviously-it feels more like a static electricity shock, or a slight twing-almost like if you have an itch you need to scratch. I have a very low pain tolerance and this is not painful at all.
They put them in me and leave the room for 20 mins-30 mins to let them work-no massage, orgasm or anything feels more relaxing than that!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
