Carly, you shouldn't get fevers from inhaled meds b/c they don't actually go into your bloodstream (or only very minimal amounts do, at any rate). This is why you get blood drawn all the time when you're on Tobra IVs but not when you're using TOBI inhaled...the ototoxicity/nephrotoxicity is lower with TOBI b/c it's not in your blood. So I think it's almost certain that your fevers are coming from somewhere else.
No one ever likes to be told to call the doctor, particularly when you just got released from the hospital. But since you weren't in very long, I'm assuming you're still on IVs and were simply released to do them from home? If that is the case, then bear in mind that you probably still have an infection -- it's possible that doing treatments (airway clearance and nebs) is just stirring up the infection in your lungs and causing the fevers. Either way, unfortunately, you do need to call your doc and at least let him/her know.
Sorry you're going through so much right now. Good luck.
