Just wanted to say your completing the marathon one year post transplant was an awesome accomplishment. While I don't have any immediate plans to run a marathon, i would like to do a 5 or 10k in the next year. Congratulations, and hope you keep running.

Thanks, guys.
Yesterday was my 1 year and it was a very emotional day.
I was determined to run that 26.2 miles no matter what.
Perhaps in my 2nd year, I'll climb Mt. Everest?

Again, thanks for the support. It means everything to me.

Thanks...actually just saw Dr. Sonett today which was nice.

We took our time, stopped to talk with family, stopped for an NBC interview, etc. So, we finished at about 6:30. Very slow for a runner's standard, but we had a great time. I would like to do it again, someday....maybe in 10 years or so. It was a lot of training and, frankly, that type of training isn't the best to achieve optimal health.

Having goals is the best thing. Keep moving....that's all that's important.
