yea, my brother is cool, but not famous....probably not what your looking for though! Seriously, The wright brothers(the ones credited for inventing the airplane) are distant cousins of mine, their mother would be my great great aunt.

My Dad's second cousin in a pro-golfer. But I can't remember his name. I don't know how cool he is and I don't think he is really that famous, but that is as close as I get until my daughter wins an OSCAR for all of her drama queen performances and my son becomes a famous male model because he is so stinkin handsome!

I have extended family who work behind the scenes in show business (movies and such). My mom though, definitely is the cool one I'm related to. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

My uncle and aunt race cars down in San Antonio, TX. And I'm related to James Bowie (Alamo) on my paternal grandmother's side.

My uncle Art is (well i don't know if he still is) on the national LaCrosse team of Canada. My ex's cousin was Pat LaFontain(sp?)... i believe he is in the NHL... and i think one of my ancestors was burned in ,... that place in the US, very famous for the witch burnings... Salem or something like that...

My fourth or fifth cousin is the Jolly Green Giant (the one who did the original voice of ho ho ho, green giant) and I am also related to Brooke from Guiding Light (I think that is the soap opera).

This isn't really about MY family members, but it is really cool!

My mom's best friend moved to Rutland VT a few years ago. Well, one day, she was talking to her next-door neighbor and
learns----gasp!----they share a grea-great-great.....great grandfather! It turns out that their great-great-great...great grandfather was the first baby born on the Mayflower. Cool huh?
Oh, and a girl in my class is directly related to Martha Washington, and related by marriage to George Washington.

The James family HAD to be carriers for CF because I'm related to them too. My great great grandmother was first cousins with the James brothers.

Eh yeah Brad Pitt is! He's not my first cousin or anything and I've never met him but he is one of my cousins...Do you think that these celebrities have no relatives or that nobody could possibly be related to them?<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

actually, next to my bf who i think is one of the coolest, brave, tough, big hearted people in the world!!!!!! MY BROTHER IS WITH OUT A DOUBT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he died a hero , saving everyone else in a hotel fire. he made sure all the kids and familys were safe. he went in to get the last two people out, he just saved there twins. unfortinately, the three of them didnt make it out. he was honered as a hero. if it wasnt for him i would not be the person i am. HE WAS AND IS THE BEST. i worshiped him i was going to marry someone just like my brother mike. he wasnt an actor or anything, but some of the cool family members to us are not movie stars or models!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
