Cor Pulmonale

Who is having signs of cor pulmonale and to what degree? I'm 38. My heart is showing significant right-V damage after years of the usual pulmonary exacerbations. What do they tell you, and how does it affect you? Just wondering.

Several things (CF being one) cause cor pulmonale, or right side heart failure. The way the heart is made the right side pumps into the lung and the left side receives it and then pumps it out to the body. Where our lungs function abnormally it causes the heart to work harder to get through the lung. It is always pumping against pressure until the right side of the heart gets bigger and weak. The signs of cor pulmonale are similar to ours already, wheezing, dyspnea, and fatigue are just a few.
