coughing at night

were any of you up all night coughing around the last month? my cough has gotten worse over the past few weeks and it's driving me crazy. i told my dr. about it, but she didn't seem too conserned. i'm going to try sleeping with a humidifier tonight.
i prop myself up to where i'm practically sitting up and it helps a littlem but not much. i also pee all the time and the coughing and peeing doesn't go well together if you know what i mean <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Are you asthmatic? Do you do a treatment before bed? When my asthma flares I get better sleep doing my inhaler right before I go to sleep. I'm sorry - I know how much it sucks to cough at night. Are you doing your kegels? That may help with the peeing when you cough. Either way it will help you post partum - do them!

not sure if i'm asthmatic. do you do an albuterol inhaler? i do my nebs around 7:30 and get in bed around 9:30-10:00.

i try doing kegels when i think about it, now that you mention it i will start doing them more.

In general, it appears that I just cough a lot more during pregnancy.
With Alexa the 1st tri I would cough so hard I would throw up. 2nd tri I got a bit of a break but I started coughing again (at night) and it kept me up a lot. Almost sitting up while sleeping helped. I took Tobi towards the end and that helped a little. I did kegals, they hepled but I peed my pants.... a lot. Once I peed my pants in the gorcery store! I just left my cart right there in the aisle and ran to my car.
This time around I am coughing more than usual. I am not sure what it is. My PFT's are down a bit from the rock star PFT's I had 3 months ago, right before getting pg. DH has a nasty cold w/ cough so maybe I have it too and I just figure it is CF stuff going on. BLAH! In any case, I am coughing and it is still early in the pregnancy!
