Coughing fit causes a tightening sensation in arm artery

Sometimes when I cough really hard, I have a tightening sensation in my arm that feels like my blood can't get through the constricted artery. I wonder if this is anything to worry about. Like is it possible that this could cause a heart attack? Does anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I ve had this. ALways thought it was due due a large increase in BP from coughing. Have gotten it in legs too. It can be painful. Anyone know what this actually is?

I get this too! I only get it in my arms. I always figured it had something to do with the muscles tightening and putting pressure on the veins because it feels like the pain is actually in my veins. I'm curious to know if this is a bad sign of something...

I plan to mention it at my next appointment, but I'm definitely interested in what others have experienced. I have not had it in my legs and I think it's only been my left arm, thus the concern about my heart.
