coughing up blood & sick with 3 month old baby

so, looks like i have gotten myself pretty sick somehow. I have been on the oral meds for 5 days now and my cough is a little better but the mucus is the same (thick green chunky with plugs) and for the last 2 days I have been coughing up pure blood (usually around 3ounces and it stops after 15 mins) .. so I know the next step is going to be I.V. Also, I'm seeing my ENT because i need another sinus surgery (had one last year and i'm in SO much sinus pain, i can even see pollups when i look up my nose) so i'm sure that's not helping with the post nasal drip cause there's obviously a nasty infection in my sinuses too..

My main question here is, is it hard being on I.V. while taking care of an infant? Brianna is almost 3 months old and still has mild colic and acid reflux and needs LOTS of attention, being held a LOT (doesnt like her sling, i've tried it because my arms get tired lol!) and i know with having a PICC line my arm will be extremely sore for a couple of days.

I am just picturing doing IV infusions on time, and taking care of a baby, to end up being really exhausting.... but i suppose its better than how i feel now and not wanting to do anything from feeling so crappy

How do you all cope with being sick, IV's and taking care of your babys? I know my hubby will help, and my parents.... but everyone works and i am here alone with her a lot. Thanks in advance girls... and i am so happy for everyone having their little bundles of joy!!!! We're all so busy now hahaha. But i always think of everyone on here!

Oh she's so adorable. I didn't have IV's but thought I'd mention that Amelia wouldn't go in her sling beyond 2 months. I had better luck using a Baby Bjorn carrier and she loved facing outward once she could hold her head up well enough. I still (gasp) put her in it when I need to go downstairs to do laundry. I don't know what kind of sling you have but with acid reflux she may want to be upright.

Take care of yourself and feel better!
