Sarah,
I read your blog and in my experience with hemoptysis, it is best to listen to your body and give things a chance to heal. Bouncing up and down on a horse or tractor while you have an area in your lungs that just bled the day before isnt a good idea at all. Most times after hemoptysis, it is advised to hold off using the vest or any manual percussion at least for 24 hours. You may want to call your Dr. if this was a larger amount than usual for you. It may be possible you need iv antibiotics. You didnt mention if you are on Vit.K, but if you arent already, you would def. want to have the Dr. prescribe it for you. Take it easy for a day or two and let us know how things are going. I hope you feel better soon <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
P.s. Your horse is Beautiful !

Thank you to all of you who left comments and shared with me... It is always a scary thing, though I hear it is perfectly normal... and I used to call/ or go see the doctor everytime it would happen... but it's always so frustrating to go to the ER, just to TELL THE DOCTORS what is wrong and what they should do... and the best part?? The bill I recieve for doing so... I am a firm believer that if you don't fix me and I for the most part am doing YOUR job, then I don't think I should have to pay you!! Hehe... Doesn't that seem fair??

Anyways, just wanted to say thank you to all of you!!
