coughing up streaks of blood and milk white mucus

I think you should call your doctor. I saw from your other post that you aren't sure what to do--go to the hospital, call your doctor...etc.
Your doctor will know what questions to ask you and what bacteria you harbor, what your baseline FEV1 is, how often you streak blood etc. Even if your doctor is not there, someone is assigned to be on call for the holidays and helping you is what he/she is there to do. I think it is common for people to get sick around the holidays. I know I do -- was hospitalized dec 20-something a few years ago, and got really sick last year a couple of days after Christmas, missed family holiday parties etc.
If you overlay a viral bronchitis onto existing lung infections, you can get all sorts of misery, like pain and white mucus and even streaking, but your doctor needs to assess the situation. Maybe it will be a phone call telling you what to look out for. Maybe you will be asked to come in. Maybe they will call you in some antibiotics.
I think starting to take care of this today is a good idea. I hope you feel better soon. Post an update when you can.

I agree with Melissa75! Also, a few things I do when I get the streaking:
*My body is telling me to slow down. So, I take it easy. Rest is the #1 helper in this scenario.
*Eliminate the sources of inflammation. For me, Pulmozyme is a great drug but it also slightly irritates my lungs. I also remove other irritants/allergens (for me): Red wine, cats, anything else that I'm allergic to.
*I up my Vitamin K intake. Source CF ADEK Vitamins are great in this respect.
*Possibly some antibiotics might do the trick.

I called them told them everything and they called me in cypro and steroids til I can get up to clinic and had a chest xray this morning they said they would call me when they looked at it but doctors never called me and I would like to know what it looked like but its Christmas should I call them bout the xray tomorrow blood in mucus has not stopped but is really less but I still feel like a truck ran me over I probably will b goin into hospital in few days which is really upsetting and I have been getting really nauseous right after treatments anybody have this and thank u for responding to me makes me feel like someone is there for me have a wonderful Christmas

I'm so glad you called in, got some meds and got an xray. Try to relax today and not think too much about the xray. (When I've had pneumonia, the xray clinic hasn't let me leave the building w/o talking to someone and getting meds. And the one time I was allowed to walk out with pneumonia, because it was missed by the first analysis, they called me after the Dr looked at it. But there was no change in treatment, since they'd sent me home with a script anyway.)
Some things I do to relax when I feel miserable are:
Take a hot bath
Watch a movie or read book
Drink lemon, raw ginger and honey in hot water
surf the net

Thank you everyone for responding to me can't tell u how good makes me feel im still waiting on results from xray and feel like crap but atleat blood has slowed down and family will b here soon I hope I can but on a happy face for them thanks agian everyone and have a wonderful Christmas
