Hi!

Thank you SO much for answering my question. I will contact our CF center about Logan's coughing. I don't want to take any chances...

Again, it is extremely comforting and helpful to know that there are other parents out there who are going through the same thing as us. Logan is our first child, so we are new parents, as well as new to all of this!

I appreciate your help, and thanks again.

welcome to the site, for me this is the best place to understand what means cf, because i know all the staff about the protein and the mutation, but here is where you learn how to deal with it.
every kid is different, like every person, for example my daughter before dx ( she was 12 month) she cough every day, and i said to myself: she has allergies. after her dx we start doing her cpt and my daughter don´t caugh at all except just after her cpt or if she has a cold or something. When she cough i give her some albuterol, more cpt (3 times a day)and wait two days, if it contnue i write an email to her doctor. If the cough don´t let her sleep i call inmediatly.
that is what i do, for me the cough and her pooh is my day to day exams i made to her.
