Hi,

Which brand of pregnancy test did you use? In my opinion, EPT and First Response detect the pregnancy hormone the earliest. In my last case, EPT detected pregnancy after just 1 1/2 weeks of being pregnant...and First Response detected it at about 2 weeks.

Do sometimes your cycles go longer than normal? Mine sometimes go 30 days and other times go up to 44 days! Do you always get pre-menstrual symptoms?

It's sort of crazy that you don't seem to be having your period yet ....HMMMM

Well if you are truly 4 weeks after ovulation then it would have shown up on a home pregnancy test already. My only other suggestion is to call your OB and ask them to measure the level of hcg in your blood. If that is negative then you aren't pregnant. Honestly if your test was negative then you probably didn't ovulate when you thought you did. The phase after ovulation is almost always very consistent in each individual - I had 11 day luteal phases while others may get 16 day luteal phases. It is the phase before ovulation that can vary. Good luck to you.
