thanks so much. I will be calling the doc tomorrow and seeing what we can do about getting going with the testing.
After reading alot about CF this weekend, it could explain so much about what my son has been going thru. Its like the pieces are finally all fitting into the puzzle. Now we just need to get a concrete diagnosis to start treating him properly.
Also, does CF affect bone structure in any way? He walks hunched over, almost like a little old man and his chest midline in off center and he has a weird bone structure in his chest, one side protrudes more than the other.

CF can cause what you describe for a few reasons. We dont absorb calcium, Vitamin A & Vitamin D well so his bones might be weak, but more likely is the trapping of air in his lungs. This trapping causes us to "Hunch" over to feel better while breathing.

Most of the time we dont realize it & have to make an extra effort to not do so. Eventually as CF progresses you can only do so much to avoid this. Its part of the natural progression.

If one lung is more damage then the other that would explain how one side seems off from the other.
