It's fine as long as the chlorine lvls are okay (usually not a problem)<div>and as long as it's not indoors. <br>Indoor pools are horrible and awful and gave rise to me colonizing five different resistant strains of pseudomonas when I was a kid. Luckily I got away with most of my lung function but still- I think one of the things my mom regrets most about my entire childhood was letting me take swimming lessons at the indoor YMCA pool. </div>

DS takes swimming lessons at an indoor swimming pool and plays at my inlaws lake home. The only place we don't allow him is an indoor water park that has gotten cited several times by the health department -- either too much bacteria or too many chemicals.
