My daughter takes them with applesauce. She just got switched from Pancrecarb. We have not had this issue w/ applesauce. I got lucky and she has always used applesauce with no problems. Have you ever tried the flavored applesauces? They have many dif ones <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">) Hope it gets straightened out though! Good luck!

I have a feeling we are somewhat alone on this... But, since she was 6 days old, we have given her Creon by pouring the granules on her tongue & then either nursing, bottle feeding (when she was younger), or drinking whatever she has in her sippy cup. While she was an infant, we regularly checked to make sure she didn't get any breakdown of her oral mucosa - she's always done great. I think it must be individual how your mouth handles the enzymes. I love hearing the straw trick -- we'll be trying that soon -- thank you! Best of luck to your little guy with his creon...

Would he like jelly, hershey syrup or apple butter?? We usually do applesauce but when Ava gets tired of it I cheat and do dairy too like ice cream. I know you aren't supposed to but I give it to her immediately and haven't had a problem. I think the biggest problem if you do it in dairy like yogurt or ice cream would be if the granules sit for a few minutes.
