our cf doc recommended no daycare, especially at that age. i made ALOT of sacrifices to stay home with my daughter or arrange family to help me out, but i think her health is definatley worth sacrificing certain material things.

My son has been in daycare since he was 6 months old and has done well. I was lucky enough to have my child enrolled in a special needs school until he was a little older and able to fight more off. Not sure what kind of area you live in but look into it. It was a battle...but worth it. He was there until 2.5. Special needs schools are usually thought as handicapped or mentally impaired but not the case at all! Some kids are simply there bc they have a hearing aid or need speece therapy!! Great experience. Now my son is in a regulay daycare with 14 other kids in his class..runny noses and all!! It is scary at first but once your child gets older you will be able to differ between normal coughs and sneezes from the big ones. Hope this helped!
