dehydration

yes, as others have said, it seems to be alot more common for cfers to dehydrate. this is when i say...YEAH for the GTUBE!!!! as soon as she gets sick i start pumping pedialyte into her. one of the biggest reasons they put kids in the hospital for illness is dehydration and i love that i can keep her relatively hydrated with the gtube!!!

Hi Heather,
I hope your little one is still feeling better. I can't believe the ER didn't give her IV fluids. It's true that their electolytes can get out of range quickly, and that can be very dangerous.
