As melissa said, there's just no way of predicting outcomes.

My kids have the df508 + G551D combination. Both my older two had always been well and remain so, and there was a belief that some genetics were milder etc. We had our third child under that preconception (milder illness, basically no adverse effects), but he has not enjoyed the same level of health as the two older (although he is quite well also).

Hope that helps, and I realise that you want to hear something different, but there really is no way of knowing <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

.no matter what characteristics are associated with mutation, there is still no way to know the outcome. Siblings who have identical mutations, compliance, environment can have completelt different outcomes.

As far as the actual mutation you ???, you would be better off posting in the AMBRY GENETICS THREAD of the Family Section. Steve from Ambry is great to us!</end quote></div>

ya i was sad you deleted this part. i think that's incredibly important for everyone to know!

I just noticed another pwcf on another site that has the same gene I'm pretty sure. He appears very well and is an adult.
