Our son is 2 1/2 and he has DeltaF508 and E60x. The E60X was not picked up on the extensive prenatal carrier screening. The red flag was that he was born with meconium ileus. So obviously he is pancreatic insufficient, but other than the meconium problem, he has gained weight well and so far we've just had regular clinic visits, no additional hospitalizations. He's had a couple normal childhood respiratory infections that required antibiotics. He cultured pseudomonas once that we (hopefully) killed off with liquid Cipro and six months of TOBI. It's been over a year since we had a positive pseudo culture and I'm pretty sure he got it from an non-chlorinated kiddie pool last summer so won't be making that mistake again. Let me know if you have any other questions.
