The one thing that really gets me is "God never gives you more than you can handle" bit. I am Christian but I often have a hard time swallowing that one...If this were the case, then he is REALLY testing me at times...I mean, where is the off switch to all of this testing? Sometimes I feel that if one more thing were to happen or be diagnosed in me, I will snap. IT would be that all too familiar straw that breaks the camel's back. So far I have been diagnosed with two genetic illnesses, live on a vent due to a muscle disorder that the docs have no clue what it is and a whole slew of autoimmune problems. I am not making this a pity party but DAMN! Stop with the testing already! (Jenn looking up to the skies)

Oh, and this gem..."your just faking it" or "you just want attention"

For the most part, I have a great attitude and it has helped me through some very tough times, but like any human, I do get down at times especially when so much seems to be piling up to my plate.

Really good thread...Hugs, Jenn

You know if I were badly depressed for long periods of time, and if regular medication didn't help, i'd probably do a bunch of psychedelic drugs and just trip away. Would be like free awesome cartoons to entertain myself.
