We had to go through a lot of the CF ambry blood work. So we had twin boys that the newborn screening did find two mutations. Then they had to test my husband. The question is: were both mutations on the same chromosome? That would mean there could still be a normal gene. It ended up I had the DF508 and my husband had the D1152H so they knew that our twins got one from each of us.

Maybe they still have to rule that out for you, chances are slime but they were slime to end up with CF!
