I was recently diagnosed for CF, mutations DF508/L206W. I am 26 years old. Lung test came back fine. Sweat test came back positive. Absence of vas deferens.

I have never had any symptoms that I can remember and when working out I don't notice any issues. I get in shape really fast and any time I am out of breath working out I simply equated it to being out of shape because after working out for a couple weeks I am fine.

Anyone with similar situations where they were diagnosed with 0 symptoms except absence of vas deferens? If so, did you develop any symptoms later in life? If so what kind, same mutations?

Sorry for so many questions, new to this as you can tell <img src=""> I meet with a specialist in a bigger city in a couple of months.

Hi there. It is possible to be very mildly symptomatic but have a clear lung xray and normal lung capacity. I'm 38 and a half and despite my normal tests I do culture for staph every time I am tested. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and I am being treated-just one treatment a day though with only an asthma med and a vest. You can look up your L206W and see if there have been any cases of just CAVD. My symptoms started in my early 20's so by your age I knew something was up. I think having a sputum culture to be 100% sure there is no lung involvement is a good idea.
