okay, i know this is a rare topic, but lately i just feel a little chubby. i'm 5"3 and about 130 pounds. i'm currently on the "all you can eat" CF diet, which means, yes, i eat everything, much of which is crap. i'd love to lose 5 pounds. i'm not talking about doing anything drastic, i'd just like to look a little better in clothes. for the record, i bike 30-40 min per day so i know i'm getting enough excercise...i think the food is the culprit.

ha ha, you sound like me! I'm 5'3, 27 yrs. old and about 135 pounds and I've lost 10 lbs!!! And let me tell you I have so much more energy! My feet no longer hurt, I breath better. When I first mentioned the idea of loosing weight of course my dietition(sp?) freacked out! But the thing is my lung function didn't take a hit because of it. I cut out all my snackings, even in the hospital I refused snacks. You know how you can do everything your suppose to do and still be sick and everything. Even when I'd have a pulm. exhastorbation (again SP? I'm a bad speller) I NEVER lost weight because of it. SO I felt it was safe for me to loose some poundage. Once my diet. kinda saw I was loosing in a healthy was and wasn't going overboard with how much I wanted to loose, then she was ok with it. Now I'm looking at it a tad differently because I'd like to get pregnant so I'm kinda trying to figure out a healthy balance of food to kinda prepare for the weight I'll most likely loose if I do become pregnant.
So I say if you have a realistic approach of how much you want to loose, and don't get carried away so you health suffers...go for it! =) (your not alone!)

I agree I am 27 5'2" and weigh about 165 (thanks to my pregnancies, I was only 99 when I got pregnant, and now I would like to lose some of it, and just not having any luck. On the other hand I would love for my daughter to gain the weight. I wish there was a way I could take some of mine and give it to her.
