both arms , both legs and ALL your children. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

Wouldnt this put a damper on the trip? Kind of defeats the purpose of going LOL!

Hi,

We went to Disneyworld last August and we were miserable. It was so hot and humid. My kids only lasted a few hours at the park before they were ready to go. I would suggest going when they first open, maybe heading back to the hotel midday and then returning in the evening. Good luck and have fun. There is definately a lot to see and do around the Orlando area.

August is very humid.. Make sure you bring bottled water and they have fountains thru out the park so you can keep filling it up.. Also go to the Customer relations department when you get there and ask them for a guest assistance card...This card will help you to avoid the long lines and standing in the heat.. They will also give you a map of the park and show you where they have resting stations...(BRing a doctors note saying the child has the cf, just in case they ask for it)..You may also want to get a wheel chair or have a stroller because it is alot of walking in the park.. We have gone 3 times and it has been in November so the weather wasnt too hot, but I have gone in the past before my son was born in July and August and it is just very hot...Good luck...

We went in July 2003 and it was awful. We went with another family and we did rent a wheelchair. I knew by the end of the trip that I would be in the hospital when we got home. The heat just drained me. I was drinking, but when you arent use to it....it takes a lot out of you. Granted we also drove down and I dont tolerate roads trips well so it started off on the wrong foot. I did go into the hospital and my husband promised me no more road trips to Florida. BTW I knew it was a bad idea from the start, but I always seem to be the party pooper so I agreed. NEVER AGAIN.....
