DS cultured pseudo the first time when he was 3 months old. We've always had dogs and I have heard that dogs CAN culture it, but it's usually been in reference to a symptomatic dog -- someone posted on a healthboards site, who took their dog in for kennel cough and cultures showed pseudo and the vet indicated it was difficult to get rid of.

DS usually seems to culture it when he's got a head cold. He hadn't cultured it (Non-mucoid) for about two years, then at his last appointment it showed up again and he was just getting over a cold. We suspect it's probably in his sinuses being that it's never shown up when he's given a sputum culture. He's had sinus issues off and on since he was a few weeks old. We recently started doing sinus rinses on him.
