Hi Guys-
I just read a report released in early 2008 that scared the crap out of me about the amount of cepacia in/on onions. I know Q stayed away from them for this reason. Anyone else???

I use them all the time in cooking, but now I am rethinking my onion usage.

Ummm, I eat them all the time, always have- I love onions...If they are bad though, I have been known to get my dh to toss them because of the B.cepacia scariness. I do usually cook mine, unless I am putting them on a sandwich or salad. Do you have a link to the study?

Was it this one?

i've always had an aversion to onions that my parents attributed to the risk of cepacia...like some how i knew they were bad.

but who knows, aside from cepacia, i dont think you should eat anything that makes you cry first
