Do you feel like you neglect your other children?

yes I definitely have this problem too. It's very difficult, especially since my 12 yr cfer now has type 1 diabetes, diabetes is very time consuming on a daily basis (until we got the pump).

Our youngest doesnt have cf (and no, we didnt keep trying til we got one without cf), he is overweight because of the extra calories I have given S over the years (felt guilty to deprive him of nice food), and I often feel like his needs come last.

I guess being aware of it is the first step, so I try to compensate, do extra stuff with him and talk to him about the issue, I dont pretend he might not feel left out at times, and I apologise for it and tell him I understand that he might feel that way and it's normal to resent the extra treatment and attention his brother gets.

We do our best dont we? I try anyhow <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
