i go in tomorrow to. i am scheduled at the clinic at 12:30 for a pft and at 3 to have a picc placed. they went ahead and set up a picc placement at my request and after my doctor heard me cough over the phone. i also requested that i NOT be admitted to the hospital this time. i just like being home so much better and i sleep better at home as well. i'm not being woke up every 3 hours for something. funny how you said seems like the bug is progressing so quickly. i feel like my pa is flaring up so bad right now too. good luck on ur iv's though! and hopefully you start feeling better soon!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>
I hope you start feeling better soon too - do you know which meds you're going on? I'm also doing home IV's... I always do that.. I don't think I would ever stay in the hospital unless I absolutely HAD to. Too many germs and I'd rather be in the comfort of my own home! My father always comes by too, he's a paramedic and does all my dressing changes and takes my blood so I don't even have to deal with the home care nurses!! Gotta love that! I'll be thinkin' of ya tomorrow - good luck with the PICC!
