does cf cause you problems in school ,in education

Hey there. When I was in school, I didn't like it. I never really liked school. The kids are jerks and even the teachers don't get it. So I totally feel for you.
Being in the hospital during the school year for week at a time, then try to cover up (literally) that I had an IV in.
Having to take meds while at school.
Other kids acting disgusted when you cough (why are you at school if you're sick? ew, gross! try quitting smoking! etc.)
People making fun of you because you're thin or short. (you're a SENIOR???? I thought you were visiting from the junior high!)
Not doing well in PE class. (can't run the mile in the alloted time, not running as fast, coughing because of the activity, etc.)
Being tired in class because of meds or other reasons. (nodding off or falling asleep in class, etc.)

But we all have to go through it and once you make it through, you never have to do it again!!!!!!

well i might have to get home schooled now just because of my health. when i go to school i get very sick from all the nasty germs around. and it is also the first month of school and i have gotten so stinkin sick. also just today i had to have a blood test for the ibeprofen i am taking aslo i got a flu shot.

but i hope all of u get a pretty good education.

I have a lot of problems with school. Im there only like half the time. and i need to get home tutored. its hard when i have to go back to school because im not used to being there. Every year im out for more then half of the year.
