That is really strange. Is that the insurance company saying that or your docs? When I was put on it a few years ago when I couldn't do TOBI, my docs said it is a very old medication that they used years before TOBI came out. It doesn't get the publicity TOBI does cause essentially its quite a bit cheaper (this is according to my doc), so they said that's why I hadn't heard of it before, but its been around for many many years for use for CF, just not as common as TOBI is now. It also wasn't as popular cause of having to mix it yourself and stuff. So, that's what my doc told me. I'm interested to know who told you it was "experimental"?
