Don't feel great in extreme heat or cold. Also battle with a climate where its very humid like at the coast, so prefer dryer climate that gets short rain bursts (I stay in Johannesburg, South Africa, which meets these requirements for me <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ).

Hello Mommy2Alysa,

I live in Southern Ontario and the weather does affect me and my brother. The winter is terrible just going outside and walking to the car in the bitter cold makes it very difficult to breathe. For people who don't have CF If you have gone swimming in really cold water then you will know a little bit of what I mean. Also in the summer months escpially late July through August and September when it is terribly humid I hardly ever go outside. The air is just so thick, and it makes things very difficult.

I don't know what your child's FEV1% is. If it is still pretty good then the weather probably does not have the same affect on her as it does on me.
