That would be awesome to find out! I have an overstock of so many meds and supplies that I don't know anything to do with and I have tried donating them locally and gotten the same response. If anyone finds out that'd be awesome!

Last time I was finished with home IVs, my home health nurse said local veterinarians or animal shelters often take such supplies. They can use them, unlike a "human" facility, which can't use them once they've gone out. She took them to give to her vet who is always extremely appreciative when she comes in with a box full of tapes, IV tubing, etc. to use for our furry friends.

I have taken many medical supplies on short term mission trips with me in the past (africa and cambodia).

If you want to donate them locally so you don't have to ship them, you can call local churches to see if anyone is going on a trip and is interested in taking them. Sometimes it takes some work to find someone who can use them, but the people in the far away places that recieve the supplies are beyond grateful.

I don't know where you live but this is a place near me I have donated to in the past.

One hospital in Africa we visited had a man who would wash gloves out to be reused. They washed them in a large pile, with a hose. UGH! My heart was broken when I saw things like this.

I have seen the reciepients of these supplies and believe me, if you can donate them it is appreciated.

I could go on all day about this, but will spare you. Feel free to pm me if you want more info.
